Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) bottom charger

can you run a hx55 as a bottom charge. Would you need a bigger charger like hx 60,ht3b ,s400. Which would be the best for my set up.

The most common one, it seems, is the HT3B. I suppose because it is fairly cheap. s400 is another.

When I was considering twins... well still kinda considering... I heard a lot about the HT3B spooling slower than the S400, and that the 400 flows more air. To me it sounds like you would use a HX55 in a set of smaller twins. I would recommend a s400. - Buck

It is the large charger located below the small one on a twin turbo setup.



as for the choice of turbos I like the S400, Some flow more that the common HT3B and some dont depends on what wheels are in it.
