? w/ my sig can yall tell me what could be the problem. i have alomost no bottom end!!! once i get goin itll put u back n the seat. i can't even spin the tires from a stop. :{ i just got my smarty over the wkd and expected a huge difference in the bottom end :( it made my top top end come alive even more. is there something wrong w/ my rig or wtf? my buddy has almost the identical truck as mine and he can spin his tires. he truck is stock except for exhaust and superchips.

any ideas??

ps i'm pushin 30psi boost

What are you using for a lift pump, stock or after market ??? Almost is not identical, doe he have an automatic and what is his rear end ratio compared to yours. Tire size??? Is your clutch slipping??

You should have noticed a HUGE difference over stock assuming you loaded one of the Catcher softwares... ... ... ... ... bottom end with those injectors should have been instant.

I would have thought you would notice a big diffrence as well my 99 with just smarty will light up my 295 nittos pretty easy.

Mine is insane on higher levels to the point I can't tow on any level higher than SW3. You should be able to black out the road and spool your turbo below 1500RPM.

You said you are making 30 lbs of boost, but what are your fuel pressure readings? With a new VP44 you should be fine, unless you have a bad lift pump still...

I haven't tried it with the Smarty programming alone, but with the top level Smarty programming (#8 in my case) and my Comp on it's lower level, I can break the rears loose accelerating in 4th gear - but that's once I get rolling - haven't really tried it in first or 2nd gear from a dead stop, but can't image but what they'd break loose pretty easily from a dead stop.

My truck is set up much like yours, check out the power I got on my last dyno run a month or so ago... ;)

Sorry I can't offer more, but tires are too expensive - and burning them needlessly too hard on my Social Security check! :-laf

my go round i loaded the sw3,test drove and thought holy **** nice *** smoke but wheres my tire spinnin power?? so went and loaded the catcher9-test drove not a whole lot of difference. what the hell could be wrong???

If it is a clutch going, you should be able to see that with the tach climbing like crazy and no corresponding acceleration on the speedometer or plant you in the seat feel I would think.

All that with a stock lp? I think you found the problem! The comp alone will suck the vp44 dry with a stock lp... . not to mention Smarty.

today i let my buddy put my smarty on his truck(which is like mine but its a longbed) and its all stock except exhaust. i drove his truck and wow!! u can tell a difference. wish mine would be that pedal responsive down low. i don't understand it. i mash the pedal and flood the road with black smoke but my speed doesn't pick up that well, i think. LP??? HELP!!!

Your sig says you have gauges... which ones? what is your fp at it should be around 15 at idle and no lower than 10 or so at wot. Yes if you have a stock lp you @ least need a pusher pump if not change to an after market system. You also didnt say what kind of clutch you have? If that is a stock replacement it wont last long either.

You say you are flooding the road with smoke. That's NOT a lack of fuel. Too much fuel. Try a lower level on the Smarty.

I think I am repeating myself.

You can't expect to put the fire out with too much fuel and wonder why it doesn't accerate.
