Stage III for the 2005. It's the same as the #2021 but with the adjustability removed.

Example (NOT my seller): http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8003529376

It really adds around 120 hp and 220 to 240 ft/lbs torque. Plug and play. In and out. Will be interesting to see what happens when stacked with the RokkTech Crank Sensor.

If anyone is interested I can refer you to my seller who will sell them at a rock bottom price. Nothing in it for me. Just being nice. PM me if you are interested.

I had a Dr Performance Stage I (Part # 2017) last year for a while. Watch your rail pressure is all I can suggest.

Coolslice -- They don't even sell the Stage I anymore and the tech at Dr. Performance essentially said it was pretty worthless. I'll do the same and send it back if this sucks. You know I'll tell the truth about my experiences.

JVolpe -- The 2017 is a Stage II. Hey -- did you have high rail pressures in all situations or just under load or what? Just curious. Thanks!

That's a little condiscending, don't you think Bob?

I think he's referring to the fact that Dr. P products don't get much love around here. I'm not qualified to judge them, all I know is I tried one and my truck wouldn't run.

If it were me personally and I was looking for pressure I'd go with either an Edge or a Ramifier. . I think they have a much better rep. . Like I said, I'm not trying to get on you, but this is just what I have gathered here in my time at TDR.

Thanks Coolslice. I knew something was up with the Predator boxes and this board because of the fact that there was so little commentary regarding them.

I'm never going to any bombing parties. I'm not interested in having what's cool. I'm ever going to a dyno. I'm looking for low end responsiveness, easy installation (and removal) and better fuel economy.

Hey -- If this thing sucks, I'll come right back here and (I promise) I'll say so. I just wanted to try it.

You are right, my Dr Performance was a Stage II. I did not have a rail pressure gauge to see, but pretty sure the rail pressure was high all the time. I am basing this on experience with 4 other boxes and one downloader since then. The way it idled and ran rough especially at lower rpms did not sound or feel right. It wasn't on long, returned it under 30 days for money back. There were no questions asked when I said it made the truck run very rough. I know that shortly after the Part # 2017 disappeared from the site.

I think mine was also the stage 2 instead of stage 1. I had a similar experience. I called to tell them that my truck ran real rough, and then wouldn't run at all and that I would be returning it asap and wanted my money back. I honestly expected them to ask some questions or perhaps offer to exchange it for another box. They were just like "ok". I was a little surprised that they seemed to be used to that type of phone call. I almost felt like they were selling these boxes expecting them not to work, but hoping they would.

It made me angry because they wouldn't even foot the return bill despite selling me a bum product. .
