1/2" copper pipe, compressed air, and used AA batteries. it is a mighty close fit for the battery down inside the copper pipe, now add some compressed air [120psi or so] and a large volume of it going out that 1/2" copper pipe [mine was 36" long] and that battery will go real far. you could use ether or something else as a propellent, but i don't trust the copper pipe that much...
