I want to buy a box. Why buy a EZ vs. EZ comp? Don't really want to punture the pump wire. Can I run the comp for now with without puncturing the wire at reduced power? Can I get a Edge product with the guages built in for a 2001? I didn't see it in the Edge site. I live in the NY/Long Island area what is the closest place to upgrade the transmission? How long does it take to have the truck down? Approximate cost for a transmission to handle extra 65 HP or 180-200 torque. Thanks for your help.

Yes you can, it will have the power of an EZ only.

I do not belive you can at this time. I heard a rumor that they are working on it but I would not wait.

Not sure on this, maybe MassDiesel or Autoworks in NJ.

Your auto transmission shoulc be able to handle an that much with out any upgrades, but its kind of a crap shoot. Some guys have driven for years on a stock transmission and some blow them up the next day. I always advise upgrading the transmission as it is a great performance boost in itself. When I did my transmission it was like adding an Edge EZ. Felt like I gained 50-70 hp.

Snowman is right there in the Empire State and he is a DTT installer. He does all the transmission work on my truck and does and excellent job!
