I think the timing's off?????

i know its not a cummins swap topic but he is a Icon of hot rodding and custom vehicles and im shure it just would have been just time before he

built a cummins powerd hot rod !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I read about that this morning, that's a dam shame.

Hope is family is doing well considering.

I'm certain more news will come out in time.

I liked the show because he reminded me off my old boss. I hate to see people pass away at his age, he should have had many years left. I don't know awhole lot about him but what I have heard wasn't nice but with out first had knowlage who knows.

I dont think he was a bad guy i think the hard but attitude was part of the carnage of the show look at American Chopper with the Toutal

Family do you honestly think all of them guys would stay on board listening the BS every day money or not ????,I think not . However i do know the custom vehicle restoration gig and it can be a pain and a headache when people dont perform and suppliers dont produce .

The man was an artist and cars was his canvas !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He was certainly a cornerstone of the Rod and Custom scene - apparently and reportedly a poor businessman, but great visionary and craftsman where design and execution of new customizing trends and themes was concerned.

Yeah, always sad to see to see the old anchors of the craft disappear - especially so young - but then, none of us know how much time we have left, make it count! ;)

I have also heard that he wasn't a nice guy and very cocky as well. This was from someone who has met him... but I hope that I manage to kick on by 63 ...

People love a good show. So I'm sure many of the "fights" and "arguments" and "yelling" was just as staged as any TV show out there. People eat it up and thats why they watch it... the masses that is. People who normally would care less about some show where they rebuilt a car watched it for fun and the suspense of what was going to happen people wise. Like a soap.

He had built some good stuff. But I just never agreed with that show or American Chopper. Some of the stuff was so rushed... how could it be any good? You just can't rush quality work like what was on there. Some of those guys who owned or bought the cars were probably irked when they watched the episode where their car was hurried and rushed. Just my opinion.

He was an artist, but the arrogant, and mean were no act that was his real personality. This is according to my boss that knew him personally.
