Brake advise

I have had the truck gone through and put in Bendix carbon metalic pads and shoes as well as an upraded brake cylinders and new fluid. Everything seems fine but last week I took the truck in for an inspection and the guy over adjusted the rear brakes. I found out after goin on the highway for a short blast to stop and smell burning. The driver side rear wheel would lock up with very little effort. I took the rig back to the brake guy and he lifted the rear and could not turn the wheel so he loosened the star adjust a few turns and it was free.

Now if I do any hard stops the same wheel seems to grab and stick, I have loosened it a few more clicks but am concerned. I am going to hook up my 5th wheel and go trough some mountains and I want my brakes 100 percent.

Has anyone else had this problem? Do I need to worry, as I tend to get paranoid just before leaving on long trips.

Any advise would be appreciated.

I'm sure Sam took care of you, but I will offer a slight bit of advise. I had this happen on a Chevy one time and I couldn't figure out the problem. The RWAL brake computer failed, and was causing a similar senario.

Had a similar problem. Turned out to be the rubber brake line from the axle to the left rear drum had collasped on the inside. So I was told by the brake guy that fixed it. At any rate he had replaced the rubber line and all was okay.
