brake and abs light problems

this has probably been covered a million times, last time i just wiggled the vacuum lines and problem was solved. this time it didnt work any ideas? both abs and brake lights wont go out

I recently had the same problem. The problem was fixed by replaceing the speed devise in the rear end. Mine had an open contacts with zero resistance.

There are 13 trouble codes that can turn on the ABS and brake lights, not too mention power and ground problems on the controller. Yes, the rear speed sensor is a common failure, but I'd look at verifying that it is before buying one.

If you wiggled the vac lines last time and the lights went out, I would carefully look for a small hole in the line. I had the same problem and found a small hole in one of the lines. I just wrapped it over with duct tape and problem went away.
