I currently have a Mity-Vac hand held vac pump and I'm looking for a better way to flush and bleed my brake systems. Both trucks have 4 wheel anti-lock brake system, not sure if this make any difference as to what type of bleeder/flusher to use. Don't know if a pressurized brake bleeder or a vacuum type brake bleeder system is better. I assume each has it's pros and cons. I have been looking at a pressure brake bleeder which looks like a garden/weed sprayer with an adapter that fits on the master cylinder (web sites claim it the most popular DIY pressure bleeder and costs WAY less than the professional shop style ones). I have also been looking at a vacuum bleeder/flusher from Vacula or Mity-Vac which uses compressed shop air to help suck the brake fluid out down at the bleeder screws.
Need help on which route to go. Looking for something that will make the job easier and quicker than my hand help vac pump. I don't know about anyone else, but I tend to procastinate on things like this if the job is going to be a major hassel due to not having the proper tool for the job.
