I love this site. I got the dredded broken off bleeder screw only before I read all about it . And of course as soon as it happened I ran to TDR. Soak it with PB, drill it, bang the hell out of the caliper all around it, and then use a square style screw extractor from NAPA and out it comes. Then soak the other three, bang the hell out of them and out they come.

Now I need a caliper rebuild Kit. Napa doesnt even list one. Any idea where I can get one. I have a torn boot on both the pisto and mount bolt not to mention needing a bleader screw

Your guy at NAPA has made a mistake..... there should be no problem with a caliper rebuild kit on the shelf... . unless your local store doesn't want to carry it. . just to sell loaded calipers.....

The front caliper kit from O'Reilly's is a 41177 and for the rear it's a 41182 and the local store close to me has them on the shelf... .

The bleeder screw is not in the caliper kit... have your local store grab a bleeder screw from a return core... . or from an assortment they should have in a kit... .

If there is any problem with the piston... . damage from dirt getting past the torn boot, either polish it out... or replace it...
