trailers and axle weights?

I have a 1995 Dodge 3/4 ton and I am going to purchase a brake control system. I have narrowed it down to a Jordon controller. My question is, on my truck do I have a brake controller plug connection under my dash or is that only an option in the newer models? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks PW:( :( :(

A guy at the shop where I bought the box and wiring for my 94 said they started that in 96. Of course I don't know how much he knows...

Look under the dash near the steering column and brake pedals. If you have the correct plug it will be next to a huge connector with loads of wires. It will be a female plug, approximately 1. 25 inches by . 25 inches. It will have four flat male connectors inside. The wires behind the plug should be marked with tags identifying them as trailer brake wiring.

That's how it looks on a 99. My 93 had nothing and I had to run the wiring myself.

That conector was only on trucks with the factory installed tow package. Due to my crs syndrome I can't tell you what year it started to show up,Sorry
