2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Brake controller problem

I just added a Tekonsha <sic> Sentenial brake controller earlier today. Wired it as per the instructions, hooked the trailer to the truck and everything was fine. I dropped the trailer and was heading to work and my brake/ABS lights came on. Do you think the controller can cause that situation? I havent gotten a chance to unplug the unit yet to see if that makes the lights go out. Coincidence? Thx... steve

I don't think the controller can interfer with the ABS system, might be the E-brake light though. bg
