Brake Controller

Does anyone know how to make the warning that states the trailer is unplugged go away other than to turn the truck off and restart? If I unhook from a trailer and drive off the warning light on the built in controller comes on and in the dash cluster as a message until I shut the whole thing down and restart. Annoying to say the least.

Take it to the dealer. It's under warranty.

It has to work that way how would you know other wise if trailer came discounted.
