Brake Controller

Their claims are issued with the singular purpose of selling their product. Do you accept product advertising as fact?



In my opinion their claim is exaggerated or outright false and their product is not even 1/2 as good as the BrakeSmart or MaxBrake controller.

Harvey is pretty much right - -But I had a Hensley Tru control and is was a very good controller - -- Miles ahead of most others including the Protegy - - but the MaxBrake has taken its place.



I started hauling for Morgan Driveaway in 1966 and started with a Kelsey-Hayes controller, backed up with an old military controller that was nothing but a huge reostat I had mounted down on the kick panel with a long operator lever lever coming near the vent glass. Millitary controller was not hooked to the brake system and would not meet DOT requirements, but sure worked good
