Brake controller.

I am currently using a Max Brake controller and I love it. But, if something should happen to it what would you recommend for a replacement.

If it were me I'd hunt eBay, Craig's List, etc., until I found another Max Brake or BrakeSmart. Just pray that it never breaks and continues to brake. (Sorry, I couldn't resist.)

There really isn't anything on the market anymore that compares to the Max Brake. And, since most new trucks are equipped with factory integrated controllers, there isn't much demand for the aftermarket to produce another one.

Probably one of the best options out there is the Tekonsha Prodigy P3. It in no way compares to the Max Brake. But it isn't bad. I have one on my van and it works ok for what it is.
