Setting still motor running with pressure on the brake pedal it goes to the floor. I have no leaks. I figured master cylinder. I replaced it and still have the problem.

What should I do next?

Ron

did you bleed the system when you changed the master cylinder? you also have to bench bleed the m/c. it sounds to me like you have some air in the system. im not sure how the system is set up but a vacuum leak might cause the same thing and the vauum pump on the dodges are known to fail. just my . 02 worth

Yes I did bleed the system (a few times actually), And I did bench bleed the MC.

I have also wondered about a vacuum leak causing the problem. Anyone know if this is a possibility?

Thanks,

Ron

Check your wheel bearings. And it could be a bad dump valve if you have rear wheel antilock. check to see that you have brake pressure to the rear wheels if you don't replace the dump valve under the master cylinder.

If you replaced your master cylinder with a rebuilt unit it is possible that it is bad. I have had that problem with rebuilt master cylinders in the past.

That is what I was thinking (it is a rebuilt one). Took it by the dealer today. They checked it and said the MC is bad. They did not even charge me. The parts guy got on the locator and found a new MC at another dealer. They gave me such a good price I got the mopar! This weekend I will change it.
