I thought somebody already asked this but i cant find it. What kind of brake fluid is everyone using? brand and type?. I want to do a partial fluid change (just whats in the master cylinder) so whatever i top it off with has to be compatible with the original DC brake fluid. I have a 2001 4x4 with the 4 whell discs. Any ideas?

Hi EMDDiesel,

There was a tread about it, about 1 week ago. Not sure about the others, but I use the Valvoline synthetic Dot 3/4 brake fluid. Found it at Autozone. Good luck.

I ended up using the Valvoline Synthetic since it was at the first store I looked. Here's the thread. https://www.turbodieselregister.com/ubb//Forum3/HTML/003435.html
