Snow and ice here. Was spinning the rear tires to get up hill tonight (ice covered roads) and the Brake light and ABS came on and would not go off. I unplugged both fuses to see if it would reset but no (1 under hood, 1 on side of console). It is a 2002 3500 QC 3500 4x4 5spd 4. 10 LSD. I checked the P code and it shows a "P done". Now when I hit the brakes the brakes lock up (no ABS front or rear). Any ideas?????????

Take it to your dealer he will reset and show you haw to reset your computer. I had the same problem, now all is OK.

Check the rear axle speed sensor. I had the same problem on my 99, and replacing the sensor fixed it...

Thanks, but a guy on the other diesel.org site helped. Basically it should clear itselt on the fourth start, which it did. Nevertheless, thanks for the help!!!

I know this is of no help but when a trailer shorted my brake/turn lamps on my 93, it caused the brake and antilock lamps to iluminate in my dash because the fuse for both of those cicuits blew.
