I have a 96 1 ton that I'm having problems with the brakes. The abs and brake light are on almost all the time now. The problem started while driving up to Alaska from NM. The brakes appear to work fine, but occassionally the anti-lock mechanism kicks in right before a stop and I end up moving about five feet. The problem goes away if I pump the brakes. I have checked for and found a leak in the vac lines, but the light still won't stay off. I am also missing the relays in the box under the hood for the abs and am wondering if the previous owner did some funny wiring when they put their trailer brake box in. I don't know which relays are supposed to be there. Seems like I'm missing any that deal with abs system. The abs system does not function properly when driving as I can lock the brakes on the truck at will. Very concerned with winter approaching. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Travis
