2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Brake light

I have an intermittent brake light only on. It will come on solid, not flashing like the P-brake is on, then go out after a while. No ABS light though. It doesnt set any permanent codes but I got 2 codes out today: PCU P0460 and ECU P1693. Anyone know what they mean? 01. 5 CTD Six spd.

P 1693 = Detected code in PCM/ECU



P0460 = Fuel level unit no change over miles ( I have no idea what that means)
