brake lights out

Anyone have a problem with their brake lights?

One went out, then the next one went out. I changed them today.

The old bulbs looked fine. Filaments were not broken, but one of the leads looked burned or melted around it. The same for both lights. After I put the new bulbs in I tried the brakes and one light went out almost immediately. The other works for now.



Any ideas?

I'd get out an ammeter and check the current and voltage. Diagnose the problem yourself, then make the dealer fix it under warranty.
