2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission brake lights stay on.

my brake lights stay on and i must pull up on the brake peddle to turn them off. this has happened three times. i oiled the hinge pin on the peddle. is there a grease fitting on the pivot of the peddle. can i adjust the brake light switch.

The switch is adjustable, but the adjuster might be worn out. They don't cost much.

Yep. Should be able to just pull out(forward) on the switch contact to make it engage the pedal sooner, which should fix the problem... .
