As the title implies, my brake lights frequently stay on, after releasing he pedal. This started a few years ago and I taped a quarter between the button switch and the pedal and all was good for 2. 5 years. It recently it started happening again, and I'd like to fix it right this time.

BTW, the only reason I even notice, is the reflection in the glass doors, that I park backed up to. Are others having this issue?

How long are they sticking on? I've noticed since new on my 03 that there has always been a delay from when I release the brake pedal to when the rear lights turn off. The cab center brake light always turns off instantly and before the rear ones. For me it can be a one second delay and I attribute that to the fact that this whole truck is computer driven, not the simple stupid switch wired directly to light proper method. I've noticed a lot of delayed features from when I turn a switch on or off till the trucks computer finally decides to catch up.

Anyome ever noticed that the outside blinker blinks at a different rate then the blinker inside?

Mine would stay on until I pulled back on the brake pedal.
