Hi guys, i need some help... ... ... the brake lite fuse(20A) keeps popping,

could it have something to do with the brake controller?

I couldn't trace it to the trailer as the first time it blew it wasn't hitched(the brake control is hooked full time)

Any ideas that don't involve the stealer???(hate them monkey

Did it happened to anybody else??

Diagrams should fuse #5 going to the brake light switch and the out to the brake lights. Which would include the CHMSL in the back of the cab, to the turn signal switch to operate the rear brake lights and to the provision for the brake controller. That appears to be it. Does the fuse blow immediately or do you have to step on the brake?

If the pedal needs to be pushed to blow the fuse, work at eliminating one branch at a time (by unplugging) to see what branch the short is in. Then work from what you find there.

Thanks for the help,I traced it down on Sunday.

the numb nuts that put my trailer together(AZTEX)

run the wires thru sections of 3/4 inch square tube ,the brake wire on the drivers side rubbed itself against the sharp edge(cut with a cutoff saw) till it welded itself to it.

Had to spend the afternoon covering all the wires with the convoluted looms... ... ... . talk about s%it workmanship.
