After having a shop replace my heater core, the brake lites stay on all the time. allso the turn signals work on the outside but no indicator lightes or noise on the dash. Same issue with emergency flashers.

As well you know the complete dash has to be removed to replace heater core. Can any of you experts help me here. The shop that did it said it was the brake pedal acctuator, which i replaced,No help.

My biggest fears of having somebody else replace the core have came to lite,no pun intended.

thanks for any help guys!!!!!

Pretty sure there is a harness disconencted behind the dash. That frequnetly happens with a dash removal.

After i replaced my h/c the brake switch bracket got tweaked a little and had the lights on constantly , tweaked it back and all is well! Follow the pedal up to mount and you will find it.

Check and see if your power steering pump resavar is under pressure. I had this issue on my 05, the break lights would not turn off until I unscrewed the resavar cap and let the pressure off.

With those the stop lamp issue could be a damaged switch or bracket but look for a loose connector at the steering column under the schroud and at the 40 way by your left foot
