Just wondering if anybody has any useful tips or info for brake master cylinder replacement? I've done one before but it was a vaccum assist brake system with the help of somebody much older and wiser in mechanics than me. My cousin & and I will be replacing mine Wednesday morning so any help/advice would be appreciated.

TIA

??? is the M/C leaking or the hydro boost ??

they can be split and the M/C not opened up so no issue with brake fluid loss/air getting in

mine was done at Piers [I don't bend well since my wreck but still knowand can see the methods :) ]. . hydro boost on mine was leaking and replaced this only by splitting them

I took it to a reputable shop yesterday, an owner with a couple of CTD's himself. Had him test drive it to see what he thought it was. Told him I was unsure b/c I had heard it could be the MC or the Hydroboost. His answer after driving the truck was to replace the MC.
