I haul a 5th wheel and need to change out my brake pads. AXXIS brake pads have been recommended. Are there any other recommendations I should consider? Thanks:confused:

I used pads from Auto Zone called "Performance Carbon Friction Metallic" and I cant tell them apart from the stock ones. I'm thinking like $45 bucks or something. Ive used them on other pick ups with no problem.

I've tried the NAPA pads and the AutoZone pads ... ... ... ... . buy the OE pads from your dealer.

Do a search, plenty of reading on the subject.

The factory really does there research on brake pads because they dont want a brand new truck coming back to the shop with 10k on it with squeaking brake pads. There for the really put some effort in the design i know that the Actual OEM pads are around $150, but in my history of dodges i have tried autozone and even mopars B-line and they didnt impress me. Spend them money and your will not have to worry about them for 50k to 75k mile again. It is one of those things where your pay for what you get this holds true here

My fronts are still factory and the rears were replaced with "b-line" at 96K. Both are around 50% yet.

Are you looking for better wear or better braking or ???

I used some organic pads and I loved them on my dually . Zero brake dust and didnt seem to fade as bad as the stock brake pads just my 2 cents and the wear seemed better than the OEM pads just my thoughts.
