Can't beat the OEM for long wear, less dust, no noise and good stoping ability.

I have had fantastic luck w/ EBC Green Stuff pads. Easy on the rotors, little brake dust, perhaps 15% less pedal pressure to stop (throw me under the bus if you wish) Mine have been on for 40K and have plenty of pad left.

Thanks again for all the input about brakes and brake pads. While removing my studded tires I thought it a good time to check the brake pads with only 49848 mi on my 05 Dodge 3/4 T 4x4 which I bought new. I see that most of you are getting very high miles on the stock pads. That is not the case with my rig. All four sets were worn severly and of course the fronts which always wear out first wore in such a manner if I would have waited for the squealer to come in contact with the rotor the other end of the pad would have been into the metal. Stock pads in this case didnt do very well. I dont ride the brakes and I drive my Jeep around town to keep milege low on my truck. My rotors are excellent so I bought a full set of Wagner pads at Oreillys and they seem to be very good.
