I know Sam Peterson and his Carbomet pads are a real popular choice for our trucks, but in looking into PF pads, I see they have a "Z-Rated" line. Anyone with experience with these?

I'm getting about due for new ones.

TIA,

-Jay, I used them on my truck. They lasted about 18,000 miles, but stopped awsome. I've been using Raybestos Super-Stop pads. They're a fleet duty pad and seem to be lasting. As you can see in my sig. I'm running some big tires, and I have a heavy foot. Also, I deal with alot of stop and go driving up here in Long Island, N. Y. -Glen

I asked Perf Friction at the SEMA show. I don't recall all the details now, but I seem to remember they require more pressure and don't stop well when cold. Might last longer. My feeling after talking with them was that I should stay with the regular Performance Friction pads (4594 for 4x4s).
