can someone please tell me where this valve is located exaclty as I am having problems with my rears grabbing and locking badly at slow speeds or loss of rears at high speed stops wondering if my airbags are helping this problem show itself.

Do you have an '01 or '01. 5... . the valve with the axle link is only on the drum brakes not disc... .

as far as you airbags... if you are riding empty you should only have about 5psi in them and they should not effect braking...

apply air only when loaded and just enough to level the truck out. .

I have one of the first 01's off the line with the drum brakes, I usually run 10 psi in the bags because with 5 they are extremly harsh.
