changed out front pads several weeks ago without any problems. Then two days ago I changed out the rear shoes and all (3) the brake lines to the SS braided type. Now when I brake the pedal goes soft until about half way down, then the right front tire chirps for a split second, and then the pedal gets hard like it should and the truck seems to brake fine. I have done the following but it hasn't changed anything:
1) extensively checked the whole truck brake system for leaks and found none. I drove the truck for two days and didn't lose any fluid.
2) blead each wheel cylinder and caliper multiple times. (I have the speed bleeders so it's easy for me to do myself)
3) replaced the right front caliper with a fresh rebuilt caliper and blead it with a traditional bleeder screw. (I thought maybe the speed bleeder was leaking)
I have 4 wheel ABS, but it doesn't kick in to keep the wheel from locking up.
