I have a 2005 4wd 3500 and I've been noticing when I get on the brakes, I can ffel the truck pulsing like it has a warped rotor or something. Anyone else had this problem? It shouldn't have any brake problems at all with just 15k on it.
Funny you brin that up my truck has 41k on it and has just started doing the same thing as well as a small squeak squeak squeak going thoruhg the drive through... . on the other hand my uncles 03 has 100k on it and has just now started to show signs of brakes needing replacment I don't get it either... . Maybe a bad run on the 05 rotors?
My 03 has been doing it for miles. I bought it used with the problem. Apparently it is pretty easy to get the material from the brake pads deposited on the disks unevenly and it will give the pulse. It isnt often a warped rotor although that can happen. I read a lengthy techie article about it and have fought the pulse for years. I just decided to put up with it until the brakes wear out.
