im currently in the process of ordering parts for doing a brake job on the front end of my truck. im installing braided lines and cryo rotors with performance pads. im also looking for a good 2 or 4 piston caliper. a while back i noticed that my calipers where loose so i installed new bushing and slider pins and it helped but did not do what i had hoped it would so i think i need new calipers and since i like having very good brakes since i do tow occasionaly and it is usually heavy and i dont have an ex brake. anyways long story short i would like to upgrade to a better caliper but i cant find any. my first question is will the twin piston calipers from an 02 dodge work on my 97 and if not who makes a good caliper for these trucks.

The reason you are having a hard time finding duel piston calipers is because they don't exist. #@$%! 2000-2002 calipers will not fit the 94-99 trucks. You would have to replace the entire front axle. I have duel piston calipers on mine, but I swapped everything from the ball joints out with a 92-97 Ford one ton. Search "whoe nellie!" on this site for details. Oh yeah, they made a huge difference. Also try installing GM one ton wheel cylinders. Good luck.
