I need to replace or turn my trucks front rotors. Would like comments from anyone who has replaced theirs; what kind did ya use, and are ya satisfied now? My truck; 1998. 5 - 94k mi and on 4th set of front brake pads. Its always the left front that go first!:

I went over to EGR brakes. Gene puts out a good product but the rears are a little "sticky" and you MUST burn them in real good on install. They have worked well and make a big difference under load.

I went with a set of rotors and pads from preformance plus (www.performanceplusbrakes.com) I got a set of cross drilled and slotted rotors and a pair of kevlar lined pads all for under $300

Ive had them on for about 500 miles so far and am very pleased with the stopping power. I do alot of hill decents with trailers and they really help slow things down.

Wooster,I am here at Wooster also. Dover Brake at Strausberg will do a great job and not charge you a arm or leg. Put Preformance pads on mine from Auto Zone.
