2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Brake Shudder

I just had the rear brakes done on my truck, new pads,& drums. I now get a shudder under medium to hard braking. My uneducated guess is the ABS is pulsing. I'm taking it back to the shop, but first I would like to get some of your input. Thanks.

If the rear wheels are skidding the ABS will make it feel like you are on a rub board road. Are these symtoms you describe on pavement? Of course it could be something out of round (the rear drums). bg

The brakes aren't locking up just pulsating and this is happening on pavement.
