Archived Brake Smart?

I have a brake smart an it went dead. Pulled the manual, check the fuse-good. Unpluged wire harness. black wire has 12. 7 volts. white to red wire had continuity. Is it dead? I think brake smart is out of business, phone # dont work. any one help me out, need trailer brakes.

Unit was unplugged for 15 to 30 min. Went back out to do more checking of wires. Plugged unit back in and now it is working. Any ideas what is going on?

I've never heard of a "Brake Smart". I presume this is some sort of trailer brake controller?

I'd contact the manufacturer tech support.

My old BrakeSmart which has been in continuous service since early in 2002 when I learned about them from TDR members did that once in a while when installed on my '01 Dodge. Unplugging and reconnecting the connectors, one at a time, from the back always cleared it. It never did that while installed on my '06 or current Ram.
