Brake Squeal

[RBSOB]

I've narrowed down an annoying "squeek... . squeek... . squeek" to my left front rotor[you can easily hear it above the cummins at slower speed]. I had it up to rotate tires and check brakes, pads and rotors looked fine, only 26k miles. Cleaned up dust with brush and water, noise remains. Any ideas on curing this, it's almost an embarassment to hear the squeal above the rattle Thanks Jim G.

I have the same problem, can't figure it out either. I have removed everything, cleaned everything, even scuffed the rotors and pads with some 220 emery. Won't go away. Was thinking about installing the ceramic pads
