I sure could use some good advice.
I was wrenching around on the truck again and oops... My hand smacked into the Rear Wheel Anti Lock (RWAL) Combination Valve that is mounted below the brake master cylinder. There is a wire harness plugged into the combination valve that goes to the Pressure Differential Switch. When my hand smacked into the valve assembly, it broke the plastic switch.
I wasn't happy but I figured I could replace it. According to the local dealer, the switch is not available. You have to buy the whole combination valve assembly ($150 and two working days to get).
I'm leaving on a hunting trip Tuesday morning so I'm a bit concerned.
Can I run the truck with this switch broken (wire not connected)?
Does anyone know where I can get a replacement switch?
If not, does anyone know where I can get a replacement valve for less than $150?
What the heck does the switch do anyway??
Thanks for your help,
Bill
