Brake Upgrade Recommendations

Would like some recommendations on upgrading the brakes on my 1997 auto trans. 2wd truck. I have an exhaust brake, but just feel the truck brakes need to be stronger and better. What is available out there and what do you think is best? Thanks, Rick

Do you have a 2500 or 3500. You could upgrade to the 3500 wheel cylinders for a little more stopping power.

He can recommend some excellent pads for the front, as well as cylinder upgrades for the rear drums. The cylinders for the drum brakes were surprisingly inexpensive.
