Help I was getting ready to head out of town, and my brakes started groaning, well the pads are GONE, and the right side is now past gone, it got into the rotor.

Anyway, that is fine, but I noticed on the left rotor small hairline cracks in the rotor? Should I go ahead and buy new rotors too???? OR is this normal for this truck. I have to get this done tonight, so I can leave tomorrow.

Thank You

Paul

Daa, were talking brakes here. Of coarse you should replace them. Along with everything else that was signs of wear.

Thanks

I talked to the dodge dealer and he said that it is normal, heat checking, and the rotors are fine. They are all fixed, thank you. By the way the performance friction carbon metallic pads stop MUCH better than the stock pads, wow it has brakes now. !!!!
