Truck Camper- What tire pressure??

A buddy of mine just bought A 2005 UNITED EXPRESS LINE 40' ENCLOSED GOOSENECK tripple axle with 8' bunk and all is fine except there is a wire that charges the trailer battery when hooked up. but if hooked up (fuse in place)the trailer brakes stay locked up and with it unhooked they let go but no trailer brakes. Bad battery wrong wires any help is greatly appriciated.

From the limited info you have supplied my guess is a wiring mistake or is it possible that the break away switch is activated? It is possible that the plunger that keeps the switch open is pulled out or not in all the way. After rereading your post I think there is a wiring problem. When I bought my last flat deck I had quite a time getting everything to work properly. I ended up disconnecting all the wires and going through all of then one at a time. I have found that the color codes do not always work as there is different schemes being used. Sorry to not be of much help but maybe some one else will have more ideas.

Yep for sure to verify the wiring to the brake controller. The color code for Dodge trailer harness compared to the brake controller are not the same.

Yep, my bet is its in the wiring to the controler or from the controler to the rear 7prong plug. I know this isnt a lot of help. I have sure been there and done that. Good luck
