2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission brakes

Am going to be installing a trailer brake controller soon. I have the tow package and was wondering if the wires for the controller are in the loom already? and if so how to hook it up. thanks Ken

I think so Ken, at least on my 99 it does. Look under dash on right side of steering column. Mine also came with the "pigtail adaptor". It will just plug right in. You just have to match your brake controller to the harness,if you get my drift-power line, brake switch, ground etc. Good luck.

I have a 98 2500 and it has a large blue connector on the left side of the steering column for the trailer brakes.

My 02 did, it was a real snap. The wires were tucked up under the dash. I hooked up the controller and it work flawlessly from day one.
