I happen to like Centric stuff. Low dust, long life, won't kill the rotors. My job has em as a prime vendor, so I see a lot of their calipers, rotors, pads, hardware. It's all good stuff! I have a set of pads on my Rams' rear, and I'm real happy with them on a personal basis too.
as a side note, you can't beat OEM stuff as well.

Where in E TN are ya? Dolly/PF is one of our fav places on earth!

Agree with BOB 4X4 but I wasn't able to get that mileage from OE Pads

Raybestos have served well in mountains and hauling more wight in trailers than I should ott-ta-be

I look at things a little different ;)
I don't care how long brakes last. In fact, if they will stand the truck on end when a herd of deer run out in front of our truck and trailer, I'd be fine with them being toast at 50K - including the rotors.
But that's not necessary. I have tried a number of different brands in my Dodge trucks over the years including Raybestos, Hawk and finally Power stop Z36. I consider the Raybestos to be even with OEM (the ones that came with the truck, not the OEM you get from the Dodge parts guy). Hawks are a definite improvement especially when they get just a little heat in them. But the Z36's perform like the Hawks do without the need for warmth. With either of those two pads in stop and go traffic I find I can easily stop the whole train with light pressure of my big toe! Neither the Hawks or the Power Stops have any fade and actually get better if you get them very hot. I never tested the Raybestos that way.

Just got a reply back from Powerstop about the Z36 brakes. My question was where they are manufactured, REPLY.... CHINA!

Which Hawk pads did you use? LTS or SD? The LTS have worked well on my wife's Excursion.

Pretty sure they were the LTS.
They were especially nice in stop and go traffic with a trailer in tow. After a few stops they wouldhave just a little heat in them and the effort needed to stop again would greatly diminish. Made for a more comfortable drive.
