"94 3500 TD 5 speed - The right rear brake seems to grab (when applying the brakes in my gravel driveway the right rear tires side). I have put new brake pads/shoes all the way around the truck and it still happens. I have backed off on the adjuster and it seem to help for a couple of days but then it started again. Maybe the left side is not working or maybe there is some sort of equalizer that is malfunctioning. The problem is I haven't had a job in some time now and can't afford to start replacing everthing hoping that I run across the problem. I need help in diagnosing the problem.

Thanks

i am having the exact same problem except with my left rear. my wheel cylinder was leaking so i replaced that, it helped but it still wasnt fixed, then i asked one of my buddies and he showed me in a book that if the pads get soaked with oil, grease or some kind of lube then that will cause them to grab, so if you have a leak fix that then take some alcohol and get any grease you can off of the pads and then sand them slightly. works for me, hope it does for u
