Yesterday, I spent the day at Brandon's house near Modesto having him install my 3 shiny new SPA Series 2 digital gauges, including a fuel pressure gauge. Well, after finishing up with the install, my truck wouldn't start due to the lift pump having gone belly up! By that time, it was 8:00 PM, and fortunately for me, Brandon happened to have both a brand new and a working used lift pump at his shop, just a few miles away.

So, after a :D :D :D ride in Ole Smoky (Brandon's hot pulling truck), we went to his shop and retrieved both pumps. Within 20 minutes or so, Brandon had the used pump on my truck, and I was on my way home.

So, for the fantastic hospitality, supreme expertise and outstanding quality of his work, and helping me out above and the call of duty, I have to give Brandon and Danelle BOTH a huge mega Oo. :D double thumbs up!!!!

Thank you both!

Tom

No doubt, Tom. Brandon is truly one of our unsung heros on this board.

When I was first starting out, Nowel ( HVAC) sent me towards Brandon for advice/assistance in setting a SPA gauge that I was going to use to monitor FP. Brandon went WAY out of his way to help me. Right down to explaining to me why I needed to remove the elbow for the pressure sender to check the connections.

Of course, there was that time he threatened to send me a hot pink valve cover, when I ordered a red one from him.

Brandon is above the curve when it comes to tooling on our trucks. While many members were toying with modified banjo bolts, the fuel line upgrade system I purchased from Brandon way back when included Weber fittings and braided line with Aeroquip elbows.

I try to call Brandon at least once a month, just to say hey and shoot the breeze. He's top notch in my book.

Hey tom, it was good seeing you againg at brandons place on sunday, those gauges are cool aren't they. Once you go digital, you will never go back.

One thing nice about brandon is he installs the stuff he sells, and he does quality work. Nothing frustrates me more than to see someones truck who has spent thousands of dollars on upgrades, and the istall work sucks. A lot of people may not notice things like shotty wiring jobs, but i do, and i know a lot of others do to. Its nice to be able to show off your rig and have people comment on the cleanliness of the work. Brandon does clean work, and he stands behind his work. that is kind of a rare thing in this day.

Hey B . . I Love ya man . . now where is that beer

Brandon IS one top dog !!!!

he has been a host for several local BOMBing events at his shop [and a geat shop it is] and has come to many guys aid at all hours and times... . not enough around like him in my book. .

Now Danelle please slap him around a bit don't want him to get a fat head :D

well Tom. . you'll be happy to know that "Loaner" pump is now in my rig. . LOL

went to Munie pump was working... now DOA. . funny think I had NO loss of power or anything that would indicate a bad pump. . oh well

now at least the new Spa will read a constant pressure and tell me at once if'in it's going out

Gary, I know precisely what you mean. I had never had the slightest indication my pump was bad. Heck, truck ran perfectly on the way to Brandon's house last Sunday. Then, after putting the fuel pressure sending unit in the fuel line, he had me bump the starter a couple times to prime the fuel lines, and then he says "the pump is running, but it ain't pumping anything"... ... .

Last time I changed my fuel filter, about 3K miles ago I think, it worked good enough to re-fill the filter cannister. oh well... .

Glad to know Brandon wa sable to take care of you, too.

Tom
