Diffs more then anything need 500 to 1000 miles of EASY breakin. I wouldn't load that weight on a 125 mile anything unless it was rented.

best way to break an engine in is full load as soon as possable...

best way to break in diffs and trans gears is nice and easy to let the gears lap together nicely... [driving in CW & CCW circles for diff's and no shockloads for trans and diffs]

I drove my truck for a few weeks (Around 600 miles or so) at various speeds..... Then I put it to work, and beat the **** out of it! 33,000 miles now, and the only problem I have had is poor fuel economy (13-14 city & 17-18 highway, now after reflash) and a blown speaker in the rear.

Break-in

Thanks Dan for getting me in the right catagory!

This was my first attempt to post.

Sounds like the general words here are to hold off on

the trip to the hills with the camper until I get more

breakin miles on the truck! I cant find anything in the

Dodge factory book about breakin.
