According to the manual, the newer trucks have a controlled break in period determined by the trucks computer. I don't recall if I read the mileage intervals at which this happens or if I just heard where folks thought it happened, but I swear that after hitting just a hair over 10K miles last week, the engine feels "looser". It seems to rev a little quicker and just seem a little quieter. Don't know if it's in my head or not - anyone else notice this after 10K miles?

I drive all highway mileage, with some towing 10K lbs about once per month. I noticed my MPG keep going up until around 20K!
