Breaks is Broken 900 miles away

Hey guys,



BreaksEverything is broken down out in Illinois. He has appearently lost all forward gears. However he still has reverse. He stopped to refuel and when he went to leave the station got nothing. If anyone can give him any advice or any helpful contact information I'm sure he'd be more than grateful.



He is in Annawan Illinois 30 miles from the Iowa state line at a Mobil station off exit 33 off route 80.

Wow, only Breaks everything could do this! Drive in, fill up, and lose the transmission. What kind of fuel additive has he been (not) using?

Just rang the poor boy up. He's got a couple garage monkeys trying to patch the transmission, no idea what it will cost, and a blizzard is on the way.

A few months back,we both drove our trucks up to my place in Naples Maine on Sabago Lake,well at midnight he decided to show off for a few little teeny boppers in Wendy's parking lot and snapped his slip yoke inside the joint. Dropped the rear shaft and drove about 1 mile when his T-case let go :-laf towed him with a strap the rest of the way till morning... . poor guy :-laf

The Latest is the Hacks In Illinois took his money and barely fixed his truck. When he finally mad it to ATS in Colorado the trans was slipping and chattering like crazy. When ATS put it up on the rack the found bolts missing, and bolts in the wrong places. So the Trans is on its way back out to have ATS do it over again. That is all I know right now. I'll keep ya all posted
