Last time I had my oil changed they said I needed to empty the breather bottle. I hate to sound stupid but where is the breather bottle on an 01 Ram. Also, what is involved with emptying it.

Remove the 10mm (?) bolt that holds the bottle's strap to the block, unscrew the top cap (with the hose running through it). Try not to tip it until you have it out and over a catch can. Go to the hardware store and pickup a 3/4" OD coupler and 5' of 3/4" ID heater hose. Attach the coupler/new hose to the factory hose and route it somewhere behine the engine. Be carefull not to have any high points in the hose, and don't let the relocated bottle hang too low below the truck. Doing this will alleviate the oil residue from blowing all over your motor. Perhaps Gary will chime in and point you to his relocated solution.
