Is there an add on I can put on my 99 breather tube to catch the oil drips, something like they started using on the newer cummins? Currently I use a small plastic bottle that fit securely under it and empty it every oil change, but there still seems to be some spraying as I drive.

Your local Chrysler dealer should have them in stock, but be prepared to fork out a pile of $$ for the one like they put on the 2000 and up models. . Your pop bottle likely does a better job of keeping your engine compartment clean than the DC bottle though!!??!! Maybe an extention to the hose to bring it down a little farther or run it further towards the rear of the vehicle is a better solution. . ? Someone out there likely has the ultimate set-up for this oil mess concern but just hasn`t left a post for us all. . Hopefully they could give up some insite. . ?? GARTH

Any bottle that is vented is going to spray oil on your truck. The oil is a mist and the vents let it out. Do not try a non vented bottle, you will have some serious troubles if you do. The vents are mandatory. I extended the hose down to the front axle and tied it off at the drivers shock mount. I have no more oil on the truck at all, but it does spot the driveway. It will let one drop hit the driveway every time I park it. I did my truck and one for another member for a whopping total of less than 5 bucks. Get some 3/4" hose, a 3/4 barb-barb coupling and 2 stainless clamps. Tie it off at the axle or trackbar and you are done with oil on the truck. Simple Green will take the spots off the driveway pretty well. Hope this helps.
